Effects of 5A Nursing Combined with Structured Health Education on Self-management Ability and Blood Glucose Control in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Osteoporosis

[Abstract] Objective To explore theefect of 5Anursing combined with structured health education on selfmanagementabilityand blod glucose control inpatients withtype2diabetes mellitus (T2DM)complicated withosteoporosis (OP).Methods A total of 100 patients with T2DMcomplicated with OP admited to Qiannan People's Hospital fromJanuary2O23 toDecember 2O24 wereconvenientlyselectedanddivided intocontrol group (50 cases,routine nursing)and observation group (50 cases,5A nursing combined with structured health education)according todiferent nursing methods.Theself-managementabilityand blood glucosecontrol of the two groups were compared. ResultsAfter nursing,thescoreofself-managementabilityintheobservation group werehigher thanthoseof thecontrol group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P <0.05).After nursing,the levels of fasting plasma glucose,2-hour postprandial plasma glucoseand glycated hemoglobin Alc in theobservation group were bettr than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05 ). Conclusion 5A nursing combined with structured health education can efectively improve the self-managementabilityand blood glucose level of T2DM patients with OP.
