The Effect of Nursing Mode under Skinner's Theory on Blood Glucose Control and Psychological State of Patients with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Department of Obstetric，the Second Hospital of Longyan City，Longyan 364OOo，Fujian，China [Abstract]ObjectiveToanalyzetheefectofnursingunder Skinner's theoryonbloodglucosecontrolandpsychological state inpatients with gestational diabetesmelitus.Methods A totalof1OO patients with gestational diabetes mellitus who received systematic diagnosis and treatment inthe Second Hospitalof Longyan City fromJanuary 2O21 to December 2023 were convenientlyselected.According tothe diffrence of nursing plan，they were divided intocontrol group （49 cases，routine nursing mode）and observation group （51 cases，nursing mode under Skinner's theory）. The nursingsatisfaction，glucoseandlipidmetabolismindexesand psychologicalstateimprovementof thetwo groups were compared.Results The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 98.04% （50/51），which was higher than 83.67 % （41/49） of the control group，and the difference was statistically significant （ χ2 =6.297， P =0.012）.Before nursing，there was no significant diference inthe levelsof glucoseandlipid metabolism indexes and psychological status scores between the two groups （all P>0.05 ）.After nursing，the levels of blood glucose （fasting blood glucose，2-hour postprandial blood glucose，glycated hemoglobinAlc）andblood lipid （high density lipoproteincholesterol，lowdensitylipoproteincholesterol，total cholesterol）intheobservationgroupwerebeterthanthoseinthecontrol group，and the scores ofanxietyanddepression werelower thanthoseinthecontrolgroup，thediferences werestatisticallysignificant （all P<0.05 ）.Conclusion The nursing mode under Skinner's theory can eectively improve the effect of blood glucosecontrol in patients with gestationaldiabetes melitus，and promote theimprovementof patients'psychological state and glucose and lipid metabolism.
