TheEffect Yuye Decoction on Fasting Blood Glucose and Insulin Resistance Index in Patients with Diabetes Qi and Yin Deficiency Type

[Abstract] Objective To investigate the effect Yuye Decoction combined with Yiqi Yangyin Decoctionon fasting plasma glucose （FPG）and homeostasis model assessment for insulinresistance （HOMA-IR）in the treatment type 2 diabetes mellitus （T2DM） with qi and yin deficiencytype.Methods From January 2023 to June 2O25，61 patients with T2DM Qi andYin deficiencytype were convenientlyselected inAnxi Hospital ，Quanzhou City.According todiffrent treatment schemes，they were divided into observationgroup （31 cases， Yuye Decoction + YiqiYangyin Decoction + Western medicine treatment） and control group（3O cases， Yiqi Yangyin Decoction+Westernmedicinetreatment）.After3months treatment，FPG，HOMA-IR，traditionalmedicine （TCM） syndrome scores and safety were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment，the levels FPG and HOMA-IR in the observation group were lower than those in thecontrol group，the diferences were statistically significant （all P<0.05 ）.After treatment， the main symptom score，secondary symptom score and total score the observation group were lower than those thecontrol group，andthe diferences were statistically significant （all P< 0.05）.Compared with thecontrol group，the total efectiverate theobservation group was higher，andthe diffrence was statistically significant （P<0.05） .There was no significant difference in the incidence adverse reactions between the two groups （ P>0.05 ）.Conclusion Yuye Decoction combined with Yiqi Yangyin Decoction can effectively improve the glucose metabolism level and insulin resistance status T2DM patients withboth QiandYin deficiencytype，lleviate TCM syndromes，and has good safety.
