Current situation and optimization strategies of the agricultural technology extension service system in Fushun County

AbstractTo facilitate the high quality developmentof the grasroots agricultural technology extension service system,this study based itselfontheconstruction practice of the agricultural technology extensionservice system in FushunCounty，Sichuan Province,systematically sortedout itsdevelopment status，clarified theoptimization directions,and put forward targeted improvement strategies.Theresults showed that Fushun County had established a two-level (countyand township）agricultural technologyextension institutional network covering multiple agricultural fields.Theeducational backgroundandprofessionaltitle levelsof theagricultural technology team had improved steadily,andthebasicoficeconditionsand guarantee systemshadbeencontinuouslyrefined.However,there was stil roomforimprovement in aspects such as talent echelon construction，profesional structure adaptability，extension method innovation,and the matching between technology supplyand demand.Basedon these findings,this study advanced and optimized the folowing aspects:first,itimproved the integrated talent development mechanismof “atracting,cultivating,retaining and utilizing talents”,andoptimized the age and professional structure of the team; second,itinnovatedtheagricultural technologyextensionservice mode,strengthenedtheonline-oflinecoordination and the accurateconnection between technology supplyand demand,constructed adiversified collaborativeextension system,and improved the fund guarantee mechanism.This paper could provide areference forthe optimization of the construction of the grassroots agricultural technology extension service system in other relevant regions.
