Review on resource utilization of anaerobic biogas slurry from agricultural wastes

AbstractThispaper summarized the current research status and key focus areas of biogas slurry resource utilization and proposed targeted countermeasures on this basis.Biogas slurycanbeusedas fertilizer,seed soaking solution,culture medium,and breeding feed to improve the yield and qualityof crops,livestock,and fish.However, thereremain several aspects to be improved in thecurrent resource utilization ofbiogas slurry:the technologies and economic feasibilityassociated withits high-eficiency treatment andhigh-value-addedutilization arenotyetmature; its composition and output are greatlyaffected bythesupplyand type of raw materials,and there exist temporal and spatial differences between its continuous production and agricultural demand; biogas slurry may contain heavymetal contaminationsuchascopper,zincand iron;and insuffcient market demand iscaused by its low nutrientcontent and inconvenience in application.To solve theaboveproblems,thispaper proposed the follwing strategies:adopting physical,chemical,andothertechnical means,establishing monitoring systems,and optimizing resource allocation to improvethequalityofbiogas slurry; exploring newapplications ofbiogasslurry incropcultivation,forestry,aquaculture, and other fields to expand itsapplicationscope; prioritizing the selection ofraw materials withlow heavy metal content and strictlycontrollng theapplicationrateofbiogas sluryto strengthen basicdetection;strengtheningthe promotion and support forprojects ofbiogas sluryresourceutilization technology,as well asorganizing trainingcoursesand onsiteobservation meetings to strengthensupport,publicity,and guidance,andthis paper ultimately provides areference for the efficient utilization of biogas slurry.
