Abstract：As an important countryin Central Asia，Uzbekistan has established aclose economicand tradecooperation relationshipwith China underthe "BeltandRoad"initiative.Thispaper elaboratesonthe nationalconditions，political and economic structureof Uzbekistan，as wellas thecooperation in the economicand tradefield between China and Uzbekistan，focusing on the development status，industrial chain characteristics，policy drivers and strategic plaing of thesteel industry in Uzbekistan.Italso discusses theopportunities and chalenges faced by Chinese enterprises in investing inthesteeindustryin Uzbekistan.ThroughacomprehensiveanalysisofthestelindustryinUzbekistan，this paper aims to provide references for Chinese enterprises to grasp investment opportunities and deal with potential risks， and further promote the cooperation and development between China and Uzbekistan inthe field of steel.
