Abstract:As a pillar industry for the national economyand social development, the steel industry is also a major energy consumer. Industry data shows that the energy consumption of the sintering process accounts for about 10% ~ (2 20% of the total energy consumption of steel enterprises,making it a key link for energy conservation and consumption reduction in the iron-making system.By integrating the application of three technologies- sintering passivator,steam preheating mixtureandoxygen-enriched ignitionofthesintering machine,LiuzhouIron&Steel Zhongjinhasachieved a dualimprovement inenergy efficiencyand qualityin the 18Om sintering machine.This has provided a repeatable technical path for the green transformation of the industry.
