Abstract:Intheperiodofdepresionintheglobalstainlesssteelindustry,thesinteringsysteminfrontofnickel iron smelting hasbecometheforefrontreducing costsand increasing eficiency,anditsrawmaterialsarethekeytoeducing costs and increasing eficiency.Nickeloresintering,astheraw materialfornickelironsmel,hassignificantdiferences inmetallugical propertiesfromcommonoresintering,anditskeyindicator,the tumbling index,isthemostobvious. Nickel ore sintering to take intoaccount thecontentof nickel and chromium,aswellas factorssuch as grade and alkalinity.Coupled with the high aluminum content inlaterite nickelore,tumbling index is basicallyatalevel of less than 60% ,which is much lower than that of common ore sintering (around 78 % ). In order to provide a good condition forthelong-term stable operation and cost reduction of blast furnace,our companyhas improved the tumbling index of sintering frommultiple dimensions,steam heating,fine management of raw materials,and appropriately increasing the alkalinitybyoxygen-rich ignition.Through our eforts,thetumbling index ofour company's nickel sintering hasbeen improved from 56% to 65% ,and the effect is obvious.
