Abstract:This paper addresses the issues of deviationand straightening function failureencountered inthe production of Φ85-Φ200 round steel on the walking-type cold bed of Benxi Special Steel Plant's8OO rolling line.Based on the theories of mechanical design, manufacturing,and automation,it systematically analyzes the structural composition, kinematic principles,and root causes of the cold bed's malfunctions.By incorporating mechanical dynamic balance theory,lasticdeformationcalculations,andtolerancefitstandards,thestudyproposesaninstallationadjustmentscheme and structural optimization measures grounded in precision control.These measures efectively enhance the operational stabilityandreliabilityoftheequipment,oferingvaluableinsightsforthe maintenanceandimprovementofsimilarsteel rolling machinery.
