Abstract: Color,asthefundamentallanguageof theartdiscipline,isa keyvehicleforcultivating aesthetic perception and creativepractice.Howeve,currntcolrinstructioninprimaryscholsoftendeviatesfromchidren'scognitivelevels,leadingto "adultified" teachinginlower gradesandsuperficial instructioninuppergrades.Grounded inthelaws ofchildren's psychological development,thispaperanalyzestheintrinsicconectionsbetween Piaget'scognitivedevelopmenttheoryandthestagedeanng tasks outlinedin the newcurriculum standards.Inresponse to practical challenges such as misaligned teachingobjectives, fragmentedotentndingle-trackasessment,itopossstagebsdcolorteachngsrategies:intagectiatethtic perception throughgame-based experiences; in Stage2,deepen cultural understanding via contextual inquiry;andin Stage3, enhancecreativepracticethrough thematiccreation.Onlybyaligning withthetrajectoryofchildren'spsychologicaldevelopment can art teaching quality be effectively improved and core competencies genuinely realized.
