Abstract： Within theoutstanding cultural system of China，Chinese paintingis a veryimportantand keycomponent，carrying significant culturalconnotations andvalue.Overtime，Chinesepainting itselfhas continuouslydevelopedandevolved.Among various elementsundergoing evolution and innovation in paintings，the evolution and innovationofcolorsareparticularly representative.Chinesepaintingcolors notonlyposess strong traditionalcharacteristicsbutalsoabsorbtheflexibleand diverse featuresof moderncolors，enablingChinese painting tomaintainvividvitalityincontemporarytimes.This hassignificant implicationsandvalueforthedevelopmentofChinesepaintingandthefieldofartisticcreation.Therefore，thisstudyaims to systematicallexplreandnalzeteevolutionandiovationofcolosinCinesepintingfromtraditiontomodeityopng to provide certain reference and value for the understanding of colors in Chinese painting.
