Abstract： Historicdistrictscarythe memoryandcultureofacityandwitnesstheiterationandrenewalofthecity.Asatpical representativeofthe watertowncultureinthesouthoftheYangtzeRiver，therenewalofthecolorplanmingofYishang Streetcan promotetheimprovementofurbanquality.ThisstudywilltartfromthehistoricalcontextofYishang Stretfromtheperspective of enewal，useliteratureanalysisandfieldinvestigationtoanalyzetherelatedproblems existinginthecolordesignofYishang Stree from theperspectiveofcolorcomposition，and adoptthecombinationof traditionand modernityforrenewalplanning. Thestudyfoundthattheexistingcolorsystemof Yshang Streetisdominatedbythetraditionalcolor tonesofJiangnan，butthe interventionofsomecommercialfacilities leadstocolorconflicts，anditscolorpaletecannotreachaharmonious state.This studywillook forwardtothedevelopmentofcolordesigninHuzhou Yishang Stret，soastorealizethecontiuationof the visual quality and cultural connotation of the historic district.
