Abstract：Animation with intangible cultural heritage （ICH）themes serves as a keyvehicle for advancing the creative transformationand innovativedevelopmentofChina’sfinetraditionalculture.Asacorevisual elementinsuchanimations，color symbols playacrucialroleincultural inheritanceandartisticexpression.Taking typical workssuchasYao-ChineseFolktales andWhite Snake：Originsas examples，this paper focusesonthe practicalapplicationpathsofcolorsymbols inICH-themed animations，analyzingtheirapplicationlogicinmaterializingtheculturalconnotationsofICH，shapingdistinctcharactertraits， andaccuratelycreating scene atmospheres.By integrating casesof these works，itexplainsthesupporting valueofcolorsymbols in enhacing the visual expressveness and cultural communication powerof animations.The research provides theoretical references thatcombinecultural significance and practicalityforthecreationofICH-themedanimations，helping ICHachieve broader contemporary communication through the form of animation..
