Abstract： The traditional Chinesecolor concept is not limited tothe accumulation of concretecolor spectra，butcontains the philosophical wisdom of "the coexistence ofbeing and non-being".As core aesthetic ideas，"liubai" （leaving blank）and "jibaidanghei" （treatingblankasblack）elevate"white"fromamerecoloratribute toavisuallanguagethatcarriesartistic conception，regulatesrhythm，andconveysculturalspirit.Startingfromthepilosophicaloriginoftraditionalcolorocepts， thispaperanalyzesthecootativecharacteristicsof"ubai"and"jibaidanghei，ndexplorestheinheritanceandtransfoatio oftraditional color wisdom inmaterial expresion，functionaladaptation，andartisticconceptionconstructionbycombining cases ofcontemporary artifact design such asceramics，furniture，and tea sets.Theresearch shows that through thedesign logicofbalancedemptinessandrealityandmoderatesimplicityandcomplexity"liubaiand"jibaidanghei" injectthebeauty ofsimplicityartisticconceptionandcultureintocontemporaryartifactdesign.Theynotonlyrespondtotheaestheticndsof modernlife，butalsorealizethecontemporarytranslationof traditionalaesthetics.Theiraestheticvalueisreflectedinbeaking the homogenization ofdesign，returning to humanistic spirit，and practicing theconcept of ecological aesthetics.
