Comparative transcriptome analysis of the hook and inflorescence across different developmental stagesinUncariarhynchophylla

Abstract:TeoksadinfloescencsofUncariarhhohlatwomologouorgansatdierentdevelopmentalsags,clud inghook budsandifloresecebudsatteinitialsage,asellasfredhosandyungifloreseces,seredasatealfor transcriptomesequencing.Diferentiallyexpressedgnes(DEGs)inthehookdevelopmentalprocess(ookbudsvs.hoks)andtheiflorescencedvelopetalprossoresnebds.oungifloreees)eresedndtetransciptialpasofte twodevelopmental proceses werecomparedthroughcluster analysis.Theresultsshowedthatatotalof97O6Ounigenes wereobtainedfromRNAseqdataassembly.Itotal,637nd679DEGswereidentifiedintheookandinfloresencedeveloptalpr cesses,respectively.Among these,genes with significant differential expression( |log2(FC)|⩾2 )exhibited distinct differences in GO functionalclusteringandKEGG pathwayenrichment.There were 524common DEGssharedbythe twodevelopmentalproceses;enrichmentanalysisindicatedthatbothookandinflorescencedevelopmentinvolvedresponsestoendogenoussignalsandextealevironmentalstimuli.Furtherscreeningof thesecommonDEGsidentified52transcriptionfactor(TF)genes,whichwereclusterednto7 categoriesbasedontheirexpresionpaters.Themajorityof thesegeneswereinvoledinregulatingreproductivedevelopment,suggestingthatthetranscriptionalegulatoryetworkteyconstitutedwascloselyrelatedtothedivergenceindevelopmentalfatebetwn hooksand inflorescences.
