Spatialand temporal distribution characteristics of surface water body variation in Ningxia from 1990 to 2020

Abstract:InordertounderstandthespatialdistributioncharacteristicsofsurfacewaterresouresinNingxiaandprovidereferencefor therationalutilizationofwaterresources intheregion,basedontheJointResearch Centre(JRC)globalsurface waterdataset,statisticalnalysis,Mann-Kendallmethod,waveletanalysisandothermethodswereusedtostudythevariationcharacteristics,utation characteriticsandoscilationperiodofsurfacewaterinNingxiafrom1990to2019andthespatialevolutioncharacteristicsofwater densityintheregionfrom19Oto2O2Owerealsoanalyzed.TheresultsshowedthatthesurfacewaterareainNingxiaincreased by (2号 141.28km2 from 1990 to 2019,with an increase of 188.3% ,and the number of water bodies increased by1 861,with an increase of 42.0% .Thetotalareaandnumberofwaterbodiesshowedadecreasing trendfrom1990to199,theareaofwaterbodies increasedsignificantlyafter26,theumberofwaterbodiesincreasedsignificantlyfter2O16,andtheumberofwaterbodiesincreasedabruptly in2014.Thetotalareandtotalnumberofwaterbodiesmainlyhadthefistoscilationmainperiodof22yearsandthesecondosilationmainperidof3Oyears.Fromtheperspectiveofspatialdensityofwaterbodies,thefstestgrowingareaofwaterbodiesinNingxia wasalongtheYelowRiver,thelargestareaofdensityincreasewastheYinbeiPlainIrgationDistrict,ndthedensityofwaterodiesin the central and southern regionshad expanded in space.
