Land use dynamics and landscape pattern evolution in the Dongjiang River source area from 2000 to 2020

Abstract：Toreveal teresponse mechanismsoflanduseandlandscapepaterntothedualpressuresofrapidurbanizationandecologicalprotectionintheDngjiangRiversourcearea，basedonLandsatremotesensing imagesfrom2o，2010，and2020，thisstudy quantitativelyanalyzedthecharacteristicsoflandusechangeandtheevolutionofthelandscapepaternintheDongjiangRiverource areabyusingthetransfermatrixanddynamicdegreemodel.Theresultssowedthatsignificantchangesocurediandustypein thestudyareafrom2OOto220.Theconversionbetwencultivatedlandandforestlandwasthemostprominent，whiletedegreeof conversionamong otherlanduse typeswaslower，thoughcertainchangingtrends werestillobserved.Cultivatedlandandforestland werethe dominantlanduse types.Therateoflandusechange showedanupward trendfrom 2OoOto2O2O，andthecomprehensive land usedynamic degree increased from 0.14%/year during 2000-2010 to 0.39%/year during 2010-2020，a rise of 178.6% ，indicatingthateregionallandsystemtransitionedfromaphaseof“slowadjustment”tooneof“acceleratedrestructuring".Athelandscape level，theevolutionofthelandscapepaternwascharacterizedbyanincreaseinpatchensityandlandscapefragmentationarisein landscapediversitywithatrendtowardsmorebalancedspatialdistribution，andadecreaseinlandscapeconnectivityleadingtowards diferentiation.Atthelandusetypelevel，thefragmentationofcultivatedlandandforestlandwasprominent，thedistributionand shapeofcultivatedlandbecamemoreregular，theforestlandlandscapestructureevolvedfromrelativelyintacttofragmentedandarti ficial，grasland fragmentation intensified，andconstructionland expansion was obvious withsimplified morphology.
