Research on the current situation and countermeasures of green development in the aquaculture industry of Weihai City

Abstract：As an important marine fishery city in China，Weihai City plays a significant role in promoting the development of the marine economy through its aquaculture industry. This paper systematically reviews the current development status of the aquaculture industry in Weihai， summarizing its achievements in areas such as ecological aquaculture models， deep-sea and open-sea development， brand building，and industrial chain extension. It also analyzes existing issues，including unreasonable spatial layout of aquaculture activities，insufficient development of deep一sea and open-sea aquaculture，weak technological support，and inadequate brand awareness. Based on this analysis，countermeasures and suggestions are proposed， such as scientifically planning aquaculture spaces， vigorously promoting deep一sea and open-sea aquaculture， strengthening technological and talent support， and enhancing brand building and market regulation.The aim is to provide references for the green development of the aquaculture industry in Weihai and across China.
