Effect of dissolved oxygen on growth of Epinephelus in factory culture

Abstract:To investigate the precise regulation technology of dissolved oxygen in factory一scale Epinephelus farming and its effects on growth and immunity,providing support for high一density and eficient farming. A multi一gradient disolved oxygen experimental platform was established,with brown Epinephelus as the study subject,divided into four groups:low oxygen,medium oxygen, high oxygen,and fluctuating oxygen.A synergistic scheme combining micro/nano一aeration and pure oxygen supplementation was adopted,combined with intelligent sensing for dynamic regulation,to monitor growth and serum biochemical indicators. The results show: Under a high dissolved oxygen environment of approximately 6.0mg/L , the growth rate, feed utilization efficiency,and immune enzyme activityof the Epinephelus were optimal. The survival rate of the fluctuating oxygen group was outstanding,and this synergistic regulation scheme achieved a balance between oxygen utilization efficiency and energy consumption. The conclusion reveals:Epinephelus farming requires maintaining a stable dissolved oxygen level of (6.0±0.2)mg/L , supplemented by moderate and controllable fluctuations,and adopting an intelligent dynamic control strategy to enhance farming efficiency and sustainability.
