Exploration on teaching reform of Cell Biology Experiment course in agricultural universities

AbstractTo addressthe areas forimprovement in the teaching mode,experimental content, pre-class preparation, andassessment methods of the current Cell Biology Experiment course,thisstudy analyzed the present teaching situationand carried out teaching reform practices basedonactual teaching conditions.Thereform focusedon4aspects: enriching teaching modes,optimizing experiment content,strengthening pre-class preparation,and improving assessment standards.Specifically,laboratoryhardware facilities were upgradedand network resources were used to expand learning dimensions.The teaching plan was revisedaccording tothekeyanddificult points ofthetheoretical course,and9experiment items,including mitochondrial supravital stainingandobservation,were optimized,covering confirmative,comprehensive and research-oriented experiments. The procedures of reagent preparation,material preparation and instrument debuging were standardized,students were guided to participate in pre-class preparation, and safety specifications were strengthened.A diversified assessment system combining process evaluation and outcome evaluation was constructed with clear quantitative scoring standards.Teaching practice showed that the reform achieved phased results.A total of 23collge students’innovation and entrepreneurship training programs were approved.The experiment teachingand assssment system was gradually improved,which effectively enhanced students’experimental operationability,innovative practiceability and course satisfaction. This paper provides a reference for the teaching reform of Cell Biology and related experiment courses in similar agricultural universities.
