Effect of zinc fertilizerapplication onwheat yield and quality

AbstractTo investigate the effects of diffrent zinc fertilizer application rates on theyieldandquality of wheat. Usingthe wheat cultivar Yangmai 25as the material,5 treatmentswithvarying zincsulfateapplicationrateswere designed: CK (no zinc fertilizer), T1 (1 kg/667 m²),T2 (2 kg/667 m²), T3 (3kg/667m2) ,andT4 (5kg/667m²).The wheat yield,quality,and economic benefitsunder different treatmentswere measured.Theresultsindicatedthat the grainyieldacross all treatmentsrangedfrom3O6 to372kg/667m²,withthe highestyieldbeing recorded inthe T2 treatment.Regarding quality,the T1 treatment produced the highestvalues for several key parameters,including test weight (798.23g/L ),hardness (58.46% ),dough stability time (7.12 min),sedimentation value (25.92 mL),wet gluten content (26.14% ),protein content (13.95 % ),extensibility (95.83 mm),extension area (70.04cm2 ),andmaximum resistance to extension (273.26 B.U.),indicatingsuperiorquality.In terms of economic benefit,the netreturnacross treatmentsrangedfrom533.25to 706.65yuan/667m²,withthehighestreturn alsobeingachieved intheT2treatment. For practical production,an appropriate fertilization method can be selected based onspecific industry demands for wheatyieldorquality.Thisstudyprovidesascientificreference forachieving high yieldandgoodqualityin wheat production.
