Research on Performance Evaluation of Engineering Construction Contractors

Abstract：As the direct implementation subject of enginering construction projects，contractors bear the core task of transforming design plans into actualconstruction outcomes，andtheir performance status is crucial.Focusing on he isueof contractor performance evaluation in engineering construction，the paper analyzes indicators from five dimensions：contract terms execution degree，project progress alignment degree，qualityandsafety assurance degree，capital cost control degree，and cooperation and cordination degree.Itemploys the greyrelational analysis method to evaluate contractor performance.Through practical application scenario examples，the effectiveness of this evaluation method in engineering construction performance management practice is verified，providing a reference basis for ensuring the smooth progress of the project，safeguarding the rightsand interests of both contracting parties，and regulating the order of the construction industry.
