Abstract: To examine the feasibility and influencing pathways of BIM+ technology replacing traditional BIM technologies inEPC projects,a tripartitegame model was constructedbased on information asymmetry theory,cost-benefit theory, and evolutionarygametheory, involving threecore stakeholdersinEPCprojects:the government, the project owner, and the general contractor.Game analysis was conducted, and the model was validated using numerical simulation and simulation analysis methods. The results indicate that in the application of BIM + technology, the general contractor plays amore significant role than theproject owner.Colaborative behaviorbetween the projectownerand the general contractor can encourage the government to adopt active measures for promoting BIM + technology. Moreover,BIM + technologycan only motivate relevant stakeholders to promote or adopt it when it delivers tangible and feasible benefits. The findings aim to provide theoretical support and practical references for related research.
