The Application and Development Trend of “ BIM + " Technology in the Field of Engineering Safety

Abstract:With the advancementof scienceand technology,Building Information Modeling(BIM)technology has emergedas acrucial digital tool intheengineering field,demonstrating enormous application potentialintherealmof engineering safety.This study investigates and summarizes theapplication prioritiesand key research areasof“BIM + ” technologythroughouttheentire lifecycleofengineringsafety,aiming topromotethedigitalizationandintellectualizationoftheengineering safetydomain.Through bibliometricanalysis andqualitative analysis,an in-depth investigation is conducted into the current application status and development trends of “ BIM + ”technology across the full lifecycle of engineering safety.Three potential research directions are analyzed and summarized to fully leverage BIM technology in addressing isses in engineering safety,with the intention of providing theoretical support and practicalreferences forrelevant research.
