Warming Kidney and Promoting Qi Transformation Method in Treatment of Overactive Bladder

AbstractOveractive bladder（OAB）is a common functional disease of the urinary system，which has the characteristicsofunknownetiologyandrecurrentattacks，afecting thequalityof lifeandevenphysical and mentalhealth of patients.The core pathogenesis of OAB is the dysfunction of qi transformation in the kidney，bladderand Sanjiaocaused by deficiencyof kidney qi.Inclinical practice，themethodof warming thekidney and transforming qi should be adopted，warming andconsolidating the bladder，combining tonificationand astringency，and integrating warmingandrelieving constipation，tonifying thekidney，soothing theliver and strengthening the spleen.Themain medication is warming and tonifying thespleen and kidney，solidifying essenceand constricting urine.Theprescriptionsare based on Gongdi pils（巩堤丸）， Jinsuo Gujing pills（金锁固精丸）and Suoquan pills（缩泉丸），and modifications are made.Acupuncture and medicationare combined，and the medicinalsof nourishing qi and promoting blood circulation andrelieving constipation are combined to make tonifying without stagnation.A test case is attached.
