Analysis of the Effect of the Angle of the Front Wave Plate on the Navigation Resistance of 8×8. -wheeled Amphibious Vehicle

Abstract:Foramphibious vehiclesinthecombatfield,adingfront waveplatesandreartailpanels toachievehigherspeedand seakpingisectivetechicaleasuradoptedyoutrsaroundteorldnditisalsoaotresearchirectionindamics foralongtime.Inordertoimprovetheamphibiousvehicle'swaterspeedandsearesistance,theoptimizeddesignoftefrontwave platestructureandinstalationangleisoneofthekeyfactors.Basedonthecomputationalfluiddynamics(CFD)methodandoverlapping grid technology,this paper established a three-dimensional fluid-structure coupling model of an 8×8 wheeled amphibious vehicle (wheels lifted state) to study the influence of the front pressure plate expansion angle ( 18∘ , 20∘ p∘,22∘,24∘,26∘,28∘) on navigation resistance at the maximum speed 20km/h ).By analyzing the free liquid surface waveform and flow field pressure distribution,the regulationmechanismofthewavepressreplateangleonthewave-makingresistanceandfrictionresistanceisrevealed.Theresearchresults show that when the pressure plate angle is 23.3∘ ,the navigation resistance is minimal.At this time,the pressre plate effectively suppresesbowwavebreakingandoptimizeslongitudinalpressredistribution,reducingVortexseparation.Whentheangledeviationexceeds 4∘ ,theresistance increases significantly (such as +9.2% a 28∘ ).The reason is that the front pressure plate suppresses bow wave breakingandimprovesthelongitudinalpressuregradient,andtheseparatedvorticesontheplatesurfacecausepressredierences. Thisesearchconclusionsprovideateoreticalbasisforthedesignandoptimizationoftheinstalltionangleofthefrontwaveplateof amphibiousvehicles,and has importantreferencevalue forthe matching optimizationofthe power-propulsionsystem.
