Investigation and Analysis of Wild Chinese （Zang）Medicinal Plant Resources in Ali Prefecture， Xizang

Abstract：ObjectiveThroughadetailedsurveyofwildresourcesacrosstheregion，thisstudyaims toclarifythedistributionof wildChinese（Zang）medicinalplantresourcesintheAliPrefectureofTibetItprovidesareferencefortheconservationandutilizationoftheseresources，thedevelopmentofcharacteristicTbetanmedicie，theprotectionofendangeredspecies，andtheforulation ofrelated industrialpoliciesandprotectivemeasures.MethodsOnthebasisoffieldinvestigation，specimenidentificationaddatabaseorganization，thewildChinese（Zang）medicinalplantresources inAliregionwereinvestigatedandanalyzed.ResultsAtotalof 780 species of wild Chinese（Zang）medicinalplants wererecordedinAli，belonging to 64familiesand247genera，including768 speciesofangiosperms，6speciesofferns，and6speciesof gymnosperms.Among them，1speciesarewildplantsundernational keyprotection，with3clasifiedasEN（Endangered）），2asCR（CriticallyEndangered），16asVU（Vulnerable），and16asNT （NearThreatened）bytheRedListandthreatassessmentcatalogs.Thedominantfamilies（suchasAsteraceae，Poaceae，Fabaceae， and seven others） account for over 60% of the total species （ 62.18% ），forming the main component of medicinal resources in Ali. Perennialherbsarethepredominantlifefor，constituting7.69%ofthetotalspecies.ConclusionThisstudypresets，forhefist time，comprehensivedataandmaterialsconceringwildmedicinalplantresourcesintheAliregionofTibet.Thesefindingsserveas foundationaldataforfutureassessmentsofplantresoucesintheregionandprovideessentialsupportfortheconservation，development，and utilization of local medicinal plants.
