Acute Toxicity and in Vitro Uric Acid-lowering Efect of the Zang Medicine Shiwei Ruxiang Pills in Mice

Abstract：Objective Toevaluatetheacute toxicityandinvitrouricacid-lowering efectof the Zang medicine Shiuei Ruxiang Pillson mice，andtoprovidereferencefortherationaluseofSheiRuxiangPilsinclinicalpracticeandthestudyofsubsequentactiveingredients.Methods ThemaximumconcentrationofShiweiRuxiang Pillswasprepared，andthebodymass，foodintakeand physiologicalstatusofmicewererecordedafterasingleadministrationofthedrug，andtheserumbiochemicalindexesandhistopatho logical sections of liver and kidney were examined by using the classical method of 14- day acute toxicity test. The 50% and 95 % ethanolextractsofthetenkindsofmedicinalmaterialswerepreparedandtestedfortheiriibitoryactivityagainstxanthineoxidasein vitro.Acellarmodelof hyperuricemiawasconstructedusingAML12celsanduricacidlevelsweredetermined.ResultsNoanimal death wasobservedinallgroupsoftoxicreactionsymptoms14daysafterdrugadministration，ndnoobviousabnomaltoxiceaction wasobservedandteysiologicalconditiosofceweregod；nboalchangeserebseredinteaiorgasoficead noobviouslesions wereseninthepathologicalsectionsof iverandkidney，andnoabnomalities wreoservedintheserumbiocheical indexes；the adult medicines of Shiwei Ruxiang Pillshad good xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity（I（ ∴0=105 .6 μg/mL ） The adult medicineofSheiRuxiangPill，FructusChebule，erminaliaeBelicaeFructusandPhyllntiFructusshowedexcelentanthineoxidaseinhibitoryactivity；theadultmedicineofShiuei RuxiangPills，Fructus Chebulae，TerminaliaeBeliricaeFructusand PhylanthiFructus wereabletoreducetheuricacidlevelofAML12celsbeter.Conclusion Zang medicineShiuei Ruxiangillsis safeandhasgooduricacid-loweringfect，itsmechanismofactionmaybethroughtheinhibitionofxanthineoxidaseactiviy，which exertsuricacid-lowering activityof theherbsare mainlyFructus Chebulae，Terminaliae Bellricae FructusandPhyllanthi Fructus.

藏药十味乳香丸味苦，呈黑褐色，气微香，是藏医治疗黄水病的经典方剂[1]，由诃子、宽筋藤、毛诃子、乳香、余甘子、决明子、黄葵子、木香、巴夏嘎和渣驯膏十味药材组成，具有抗炎、抗氧化、镇痛等多种药效，有效成分以鞣质、蒽醌类和多酚类为主[2]。（剩余8466字）
