Effect of Acupoint Application Combined with Humanized Nursing on Uterine Involution and Prognosis in Patients with Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Undergoing Hysteroscopic Surgery

Abstract： Objective To study the effect of acupoint application combined with humanized nursing on uterine involution and prognosis in patients with abnormal uterine bleeding （AUB） undergoing hysteroscopic surgery. Methods From January 2022 to December 2023， 60 patients with AUB who underwent hysteroscopic surgery in Wuyuan County Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the research objects. Using random number table method， they were randomly allocated into control group （30 patients） and observation group （30 patients）. The control group was treated with acupoint application combined with routine nursing intervention， while the observation group was treated with acupoint application combined with humanized nursing intervention. The postoperative pain [Visual Analogue Scale （VAS）， duration of pain]， gastrointestinal function recovery （postoperative bowel sound recovery time， anal exhaust time， defecation time）， uterine involution （postoperative first menstruation time， menstrual VAS score） and prognosis were compared between the two groups. Results In the observation group， patients had lower the VAS score at 12 h after operation， the VAS score during menstruation， and shorter the duration of pain， the recovery time of bowel sounds， anal exhaust time and defecation time， the time of first menstruation after operation compared with the control group （P<0.05）. Compared with the control group， the excellent and good rate of prognosis in the observation group was higher （P<0.05）. Conclusion Acupoint application combined with humanized nursing can relieve the pain degree of AUB patients after hysteroscopy， shorten the duration of pain， accelerate the recovery of gastrointestinal function， promote uterine involution and improve the prognosis of patients.
