Abstract：Ideologicaland political educationincourses has becomeoneofthekeyapproaches to fostering virtue andnurturing talentsinhighereducation.Asacorecourseinthedisciplineofmetallurgicalengineering，thestudyofmetalmaterialsrequiresenhanceddeologicalandpoliticaleducation.Bystrengtheningteteamforideologicalandpoliticaleducation，designngteaching plans withideologicalandpoliticalbjectives，nrichngteachngmethodsbasedonideologicalandpoliticaleducation，ndestablishinganevaatiosstematicopoateseolgicaladoicalasessments，teetivensofeologicaladoliialed ucation has been improved，and the teachingquality of the course has been enhanced.
