The Impact of Educational Funding on the Employment Rate of High-Skill Labor

Abstract: Using panel data of31 provinces from 2014 to2023,this study empirically examines the impact ofeducation fundingontheemploymentrateofhigh-skillaboranditsregionalheterogeeitythroughatwo-wayfixed-efects model.Tefindings reveal thateducationfundingsignificantlypromotes theemploymentrateofhigh-skilledlabor,aconclusionthatremainsrobustafteraseriesoftestsludingablelagngmoalofiaitesisozation,dubitioftexpldble Heterogeneityanalysis furtherindicatesthat tepromotingeffectofeducationfunding ismostpronounced intheeasterregion,relativelyweakerintecentralandwestergios,presentingadtict"strongeast,weak west"pae.Tissuggeststatteeficacyofducationfunding isconstraiedbysystemic factorssuchasregionaleconomic foundations,industrialstructures,ndinovationecosystes.Taetepprtiveoleofducatioivsmentinculiatinggskillb,iissentialtotablsh an institutionalizedtalenttrainingsystem,optimizethestructureofeducationinvestmentandimplement diferentiatedregional policies.
