linical Observation of Wu Jutong's Modified Fumai Granule Combined with Mirtazapine in Treating 3O Cases of Insomnia Due to Disharmony Between the Heart and Kidney

Abstract：ObjectiveToobservetheclinical eficacyof WuJutong's ModifiedFumai Granulecombinedwithmirtazapine intreatinginsomniaduetodisharmonybetweentheheartandkidney.MethodsSixtypatientswithinsomniaduetoheart-kidneynon-interactionwererandomlydivided intoaobservationgroup（30cases）andacontrolgroup（3Ocases）．Thetreatmentgroupreceived Wu Jutong'sModifiedFumaiGranulecombinedwithmirtazapinetablets，whilethecontrolgroupreceivedmirtazapinealone.Theitsurgh Sleep QualityIndex （PSQI）andTCMsyndromescalescoreswereevaluated beforeandaftertreatment.Adversereactionswereassessed using the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale （TESS）. Results The total effctiverate for sleep improvement was 93.30% in the observation group and 70.00% inthe control group，showing a statistically significant difference（ P<0.05 ）．After2 weeks of treatment，bothgoups exhibitedsignificantreductionsinPSQIandTCMsyndromescalesores，withtheoservationgroupdeonstrating markedly greater improvement compared to the control group （ P<0.05 ）. No significant difference in TESS scores was observed between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）.Conclusion The combination of Wu Jutong's Modified Fumai Granule and mirtazapine demonstratessuperioreficacycompared tomirtazapine monotherapyintreatinginsomnia duetdisharmonybetweentheheartand kidey， without increasing adverse drug reactions.This regimen is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
