Abstract：ObjectiveToestablish a HPLC methodfor the determinationof strychnineandstrychnine in Renqin Manjue Qiemu Pills，ndtodeteminethesaferange，sos toprovidearliablebasisforthequalitycontrolofRenqin ManjueQiemuPils.Methods WONDASIL C18 SUPERB （ 5μm ， 4.6mm×250mm ），column temperature 30% ；mobile phase：acetonitrile -0.01 mol/L sodium heptanesulfonate and 0.02mol/L Monopotassium phosphate solution （pH adjusted to 2.8 with 10% phosphoric acid）（21：79），flow rate： 1.0mL/min ，detection wavelength： 260nm .Results The strychnine showed a good linear relationship between O.O10 4- （ 0. 104 2μg/mL （ r>0.999 2 ），the average recoveries were 99.7% ，the strychnine showed a good linear relationship between （204号 0.0124-0.1241μg/mL （ r>0.9995 ）and the average recoveries were 98.9% .Conclusion This method can be used to determine thecontentsofstrychnineandstrychnineinRenqin ManjueQiemupilsaccuratelyandapidly，andlayafoundationforestablishngthe quality standard of Renqin Manjue Qiemu pills.
