Abstract Promoting standardized treatment for lung cancer is a crucial task in lung cancer prevention and treatment.The Shanghai Chest Hospitalhas introduced the concept of excelence performance and implemented process management in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment services from the aspects of process identification，process requirement， process design，process implementation，and processimprovement. By organicallyintegrating the excelence performanceconcept with thelung canerdiagnosis and treatment service process，，the hospital has graduall established a medical service system that spans theentirelifecycle oflung cancer，covering "prevention一screning一diagnosis一treatment一rehabilitation-follow-up".This has led to improvements in outpatient services，inpatient services，scientific research management，and human resource management，thereby enhancing the level of standardized management for lung cancer.
