Abstract Based on the diagnostic and treatment needs of international pediatric patients，Shanghai Children's Medical Center has established and implemented a "general practice + specialized care" service model within its international medical department.Using general practice as the huband specialized careas the support，this model achieves one一 stop，closed-loop services through division of responsibilities，process reengineering，information technology empowerment，and supportfromnon一medicalancillarysystems.It provides international pediatric patients withcomprehensive， cross一cultural，and high一quality medicalservices，therebycreating an internationallycompetitive medical tourismdestination.
