Abstract：This paper，through meanssuchasliteraturereviewanddatareading，comprehensivelyanalyzes thesimilaritiesand diferencesbetweetraditional ChinesemediciespialorthopedicsandAmercanchiropracticfromultipleperspectivesinaspectsof historicalorigin，theoreticalfoundation，technicalprinciples，andlinicalapplications.TraditionalChinesemedicinespialothop dicsi foundedontheoriesincluding“equalimportanceof tendonsandbones”and“bonedisplacementandtendonoutof groove".It putsforwardthetreatmentprincipleof“correctingbones torelax tendons”，emphasizingthecombinedtreatmentofmanualrduction andtherapiessuchastraditionalChinesemedicine.Itexcels intreatingspinalandrelateddiseases，fractures，endonijuries，etc; Americachiropractic，with“vertebralsubluxation”asitscore，aachesgreatimportancetoimagingposioningandighpedlow -amplitudethrust.Itisproficientinhandingspinal-originatedneurologicaldysfunctionsandrelatedinteralmedicinedisorders. AlthoughbothtraditionalChinesemedicinespinalorthopedicsandAmericanchiropractichaveoverlappingindicationsinthetreatment of spinaldiseases，therearenotablediferencs intheirdiagnosticandtreamentlgicsaswellasapplicablescopes.Inclinicalpractice，arationalselectionshouldbemadeinlightofthecharacteristicsofthediseasecondition.Whendealingwithproblemsrelatedto fractures，jointdislocations，softissedisoders，etc.，traditionalCinesemedicinespinalortopedicsisecommended；Whenfacing neurologicaldisorderscausedbyspinallesionsoraimingtoimproveinteral medicinediseasesthroughthetreatmentof spinal problems，American chiropractic is recommended.
