Discussion on the Treatment of Diarrhea - type Irritable Bowel Syndrome From the Perspective of “Xuanfu”Basedon the Function of Enteric Glial Cells

Abstract：Iitablebowelsyndromewithdiarrhea（ISD）isafunctionalintestinaldisease，anditsoccurrenceanddevelopmentarerelatedtomucosalbariersandneuraldisoders.Entercglialcells（EGCs）arewidelydistributedthroughouttheintestinal wallndegulaetitesialmucsalbaiandecoductionfunctios.eyanauseteosetofIDbectite tinalmucosaliflammationandervehyersesivityBasedontheXuanutoyoftraditioalCineemedicine，itiseliedtat thepathogensisoftisiseaseistfuctionofteXuanfuineintestie，anditestialalcelsarethmcosoicae tationoftedsfunctionofteXuanfuTisarticlefoundtroughanalysistatthedsfunctionofintestalglialcelsinteseof IBS-Dmayhaveanintrinsicconnectionwiththeconceptof“disorderedopeningandclosingoftheXuanfuintheintestine”described in traditional Chinese medicine. Based on this，this study proposes that the treatment of 1BS-D should focus on“opening the Xuanfu ”asthecore，combiningthestrategiesof“regulating themindandrelieving pain”and“removingdampnessand stoppingdiahea”，andmainlyusing wind-regulatingdrugsandqi-regulatingdrugs，andcordinating withproductsthatremovedampnessandrelievepain.ThistreamentideanotonlyeflectsteesencofraditionalCinesemedicinethor，utalsoprovidesaneweotcal basisandresearchdirectionforthescientificinterpretationofChinesemedicinetheorywithintheframeworkofmodernmedicine.
