Abstract:Decision-making quality is an area of growing concern in modern society,as the state of the decision-maker directly influences their decision-making behavior, and individuals with different personality traits tend to make diferent decisions.Based on the Big Five personality traits, this study explores the mechanisms by which personality characteristics and psychological resilience influence fatigue,a laboratory-based fatigue induction experiment was conducted, collcting participants' Big Five personality traits and psychological resilience scores for multidimensional assessment. The results showed that neurotic personality significantly and positively influences fatigue levels;agreeableness significantly and negatively influences fatigue levels;conscientiousness significantly and negatively influences fatigue levels. The resilience dimension and strength dimension of psychological resilience play a partial mediating role in this relationship, with resilience exerting a negative mediating effect and strength exerting a positive mediating effect. The findings elucidate the internal mechanisms through which personality traits influence fatigue, providing a theoretical basis and practical insights for psychological interventions and the enhancement of decision-making quality.
