[Abstract]BasedonTCMlatentpathogentheory，thispaperthoroughlyexploresthetheoretical originof latentpathogen stated inHuangDiNeiJing（Huangdi’sClasicofMedicine）-"invasionofcoldpathogensinwinterpredisposestowarfebrile diseasesinspring"-andcombinesitwiththe"latent-qiwarmdisease"theoryrecordedinWenBing TiaoBian （Systematic DiffrentitionofWarmDiseases）.ItsystematicallyanalyzestheunderlyingpathogenesisofpalpitationslingeringafterCOVID19infection，putsforwardthetheoreticalviewpointof "epidemictoxinslurkaslatentqi，transformingintofireandcausing internaldisturbance"，andelaboratsontepathogeniccharacteristicsofCOVD-19sasecialpestilentialqiandtetrafoatio mechanismofitslatentfire.Meanwhile，tispaperexpoundssystematicallyonitspathologicalfeaturesof"atency，stagnation andagitation".Byin-depthanalysisofthepathogenicevolutionrulesinthreestages—theinteralstagnationstageofepidemic toxin，thestageofstagnationtransformingintofire，andthestageoffiredisturbingtheheartspirit—thetherapeuticstrategyof "simultaneousapplicationofclearinganddispersingmethodswhileregulatingboththeheartandspirit"isproposed.This paperfocusesoninterpretingthetheoreticalbasisandformulationcharacteristicsofBawei ChufanDecoctionforthetreatment ofthiscondition，andrevealsitsmechanismofactionfrommultipledimensionsincluding dispersingpathogenstorelieve stagnation，clearingandresolvingstagnantheat，andregulatingboththeheartandspirit.Itaimstoprovideideasandmethods for the clinical treatment of lingering palpitations after COVID-19 recovery.
