AbstractPanaxuinquefolusispreciousradioalCneseeiciehrbalswithhmedcialvalue.Itisghlysseptibletoas pestsduringitsgrowthperiod.Inrecentyears，akindofpestfoundinAmericanginsengrotswasidentifedasCoboldiafuscipesMeigeCo boldiafuscipes Meigencanocurthroughouttheyarwithshortdevelopmentalcycle.ItslrvaefedontherotsandstemsofAmericanginseng，causingthideisoftotodamagddot，ichoslyetstheieldndqalityofnaxqnquefolsItwas velopedwellinfedingconditionandcouldberearedforanygenerationsThegs，rvae，pupaeanddultsofCoboldiafusipesMeigen were observed and recorded. The morphological knowledge of C .fuscipes was expanded in this study，which was helpful for professionals to identify and control the pest，and laid the foundation for its prevention and control.
