AbstractOetieTissudyivestigatesthsatialditrbharacteristoflarbncotentditsifueningactiie entareasofShanghaiBotanicalGarden.Method]Throughfeldsamplingandlaboratoryanalysis,totalcarbon(TC),totalorganicarbon (TOC),totaltrogen(T)andotricohmialpropertisoftesoilremeasuedCominedwitheasurementsf greosegas ( CO2 and CH4 )emission rates,thevariation paternsandcontrollingfactors were analyzed.Result]TheTOCcontent inthebotanical garden soilsislwertnatoffstdinangiutranhatofoasawetdsdegeosesemissseloo fromnaturalwetlandsandpadyfelds;teTOCcontentinthelotuspondareaadsubmergedwalkwayareaissignificantlylowertanttin theriverbankareaandlargetreearea;soilTCandTOCareinfluencedbyvalablephosphorus(AP),TNandpH,withAPhvingiificant positive effect on soil carbon content,while ΔpH shows a significant negative effect; soil CO2 emissions are significantly affected by AP and pH.The application of phosphate fertilizers contributes to soil carbon accumulation and reduces CH4 emissions but may increase CO2 emissions. In contrast,nitrate nitrogen application can lower ΔpH ,enhance soil carbon storage,and simultaneously promote CO2 and CH4 release.
