Carbon Footprint Evaluation of Automotive Aluminum-engine -cradle Products Based on Life Cycle

Abstract:Sincethedoublecarbontarget wasproposedourcountryhasissuedaseriesofpolicies toencourage enterprisesand institutionstoarrutthecarbonfotprintassessmentofvarousproducts.Basedonthelifecycleaessmentmethod,tispaper establishes Acarbon footprintaccounting modelforautomotivealuminum-engine-cradle products,andcombinestheproduct productiondataprovidedbyCompanyAin2025tocalculatethecarbonfootprintoftheproductfrom"cradle"to"gate".Theresultsshow that the total quantity of automotive aluminum-engine-cradle is 33.1kgCO2e perpiece,and the carbon footprints of the rawmaterial acquisition,production and transportation stages are 29.54kgCO2e per piece, 2.96kgCO2e per piece and 0.095kgCO2e per piece respectively.Accordingtotealculationrsultsitcabekowntatthewmaterialacquisitionstagehastheargestcarbonfootprint and is an important Iink for reducing energy consumption,cutting carbon emissions and saving costs.
