Stamping ProcessOptimizationand ExperimentalVerificationof Half-Axle Housing BasedonOrthogonalExperiment

Abstract:Tooptimizethestampingparametersforthehalf-axlehousingofaheavy-dutytruckandefectivelyaddress quality defectssuchasexcessve thiningandcrackingduringthestampingproces,thispapercombinesformingsimulationandamuti factororthogoalexperimentmthod.Fivekeyprocesparameterspressre,odingtimemoldearancefrctiocoftnd stamping speed—wereselected as influencing factors,anda five-factor four-level L16(45) orthogonal experiment was designed.Using themaximumthiningrateastheevaluationindextherangeanalysismethodwasemployedtoassesstheinfluenceofeachprocess parameteronformingqualityanddeterminetheoptimalcombinationofstamping processparameters.Teanalysisresultsindicate thatstampingspeedisthemostsignficantfactorafectingthemaximumthinningrate.Theoptimalformingparametercombinationis asfollows:stamisdfom/suretifsfrcoofddief 12.2mm Experimentalvericationdemonstratestattheoptizedforingquaityissgificantlyimprovedithboththiningrateand dimensional accuracy of the partmeeting product quality requirements.
