Abstract：Forsheetmetalpartswithformingnegativeangles，CAEanalysisisusedtosimulatetheformingadsideshapigproces， andtoidentifythecausesofwrinkingintheshapingsequence.Byadjustingtheprocessscheme，theriskfactorof ocalmaterial accumulationduringshapingiseliminatedinadvance.Thisresolvestheappearancequaityproblemofsideshapingwrinkleswithout increasing the overall number of processes.
