Abstract：Oralulcersareacommoncomplication duringanti-tumor treatments，severelyafectingthetreatment processand qualityoflifeofcancerpatientsProfesorLiuShenlinhasbeedevotedtothepreventionandtreatmentofmalignanttumorsandte studyofadversereactionsduringanti-umortherapies.Hebelievesthatoralulcersarerelatedtoheatandfiresyndromes，andhediagnosesthemasYangsyndromes.Heclassfies theconditionintoseveralpaterns：hyperactiveheartfireintheupprburer，rising stomachfireinthemiddlebuer，andkidneydeficiencywithexcesivefireinthelowerburer.ProfesorLiuproposestheiferentiationandtreatmentofYangsyndromesacrossthethreeburners.Fortheupperburner，heoftenuses DaochiSantocleartheheartand drainfire，directingtheheatdownward.Forthemiddleburner，hemodifiesZhuye ShigaoTangtoclearstomachheat，generatefluids，andharmonizethestomachbyreducingrebelliousQi.Forthelowerburner，Yunu JiancombinedwithLiuwei DihuangWanis used to clear heat，nourish Yin，and return fire to its source.
