Abstract：InZangclinicalmedicine，theZang medicinalherbSaigaisanimportantingredientfortreatingedema，withremarkablecurativeefects.However，influencedbyfactorssuchastheregionalimitationsofZangmedicinedevelopmentanddifrencesn dietarycustoms，theoriginallysingle-sourceSaiga herbhasgraduallyevolvedintomultiple-source varieties，posingchallngesto theaccuracyndsafetyofclicalmedicatioTadesstisisse，isstudystematicallolltsanientmdicalliauad herbological workssuchasJingzhuMateriaMedica，compares Zang-Chinesetranslationnames，investigatesthecurrentmedication statusiedcal instutionsacrossmajorZangareas including Zizang，QinghaiandSichuan，clarifies therecordedcharacteristicsof SaigainancientZangmdicalliteraturesandmodenocuentsanalestevaretaldiferecesinlinicalaplicatiosaossife entZangregions，andcombinesoriginalplantidentificationtoclarifythevarietalsourcesandqualtystandardsofSaiga.Tersearch resultsshowthatmultipleoriginalvarietiesofSigacurentlyxist，withdifrencesinnamesacrossdiferentZangreginsadvriationsinthegrowthhabitsofeachoriginalplant.Thisstudysystematicallclarifiestheoriginalsources，names，types，andgrowth habitsofSaigaerbs，providingascienificbasisfortesafetyeectiveness，andaccuracyofciicalmedication.Italsolasa importantfoundationforsubsequentstandardizedresearchontheriginalsourcesofZang herbs，contributingtotherationaldevelopment and application of Zang herbal resources.
