The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Corporate Bargaining Power from a Supply Chain Perspective： The Moderating Role of Financing Constraints

Abstract：Theadoption of digital technologies such as artificial inteligence has intensified market competitionamong enterprises within the supply chain system，making it imperative for firms to enhance their bargaining power.Using data from high一tech manufacturing enterprises listed in China from 2013 to 2O23，this study analyzes the relationship between AI application and corporate bargaining power from a supply chain perspective，as wellas the moderating role of financing constraints in the AI 一bargaining power relationship.The findings indicate that AI technology application can enhance a firm's bargaining power within the supply chain system，with more pronounced effects in enterprises with high data utilization levels and lower supply chain dependency.Mechanism analysis reveals that alleviating financing constraints strengthens the impact of AI adoption on bargaining power in high一tech enterprises.The research conclusions provide both theoretical foundations and practical insights for high一tech manufacturing firms seeking to improve their bargaining power in the supply chain system.
