Can digital rural construction ensure food security ： Mechanism of action and empirical test

Abstract：BasedontheprovincialpaneldataofChinafrom2013to2O22，thefixed-efectmodelandthemediatingeffctmodelwere adoptedtoexaminetheimpactandmchanismofdigitalruralconstructiononfoodsecurity.Theresultsshowedthatdigitalruralconstructionhadanegativeimpactonfoodsecurityasawhole，utthfectsvaridsignificantlyindiferentregions.Teconstructionof digitalvillagsadsigniicantlyhancdteleveloffoodscuityintewesteregis.Howeeritaddistinctibioyffect inthecentralregions，majorgrain-producingareas，andregionswithlowerhumancapital.Incontrast，intheeasternregions，non majorgrain-producingareas，andregionswithigherhumancapital，itsefectwasrelativelyinsignificant.Whiletheconstructionof digitalvillagesboughtabouttempowerentofdigitalhologyitlsoaceleratedtefofementslatedtoodetwo mechanismsofactioninterweavedwitheachother，presenting diferentimpactresults.Therefore，elevantmeasuresandpolicieededtbetakentoduceteouloofgainfctors，ivefullplaytotheposiieoleofdigialvilgconsructioipromoigthepowerment of digital technology and the scale of land factors，and ensure food security.
