Abstract:Wheatlodgingasamajorfctorimitigitsighndsableyield,hichseverelyfctedgrainyield,ualitydanizedharvestingeficiencyWiththedevelopmentofmolecularmarkertechnolog,researchershadsystematicallidentifidultiple quantitativetraitloci(QTL)relatedtolodgingresistanceacrossthewholewheat genome,andco-localized753resistanceloci,which werewidelydistributedon21chromosomes.ThedistributionofQTLonchromosomes2B,4B,and4Dwasparticularlydense,foring hotspots for the genetic regulation of lodging resistance.The dwarfing genes Rht ⋅BI and Rht-D1 were confirmed to be key genes regulatingplantheightandenhancinglodgingresistance.Theapplicationof techniquessuchas genome-wideasociationstudy(GWAS) andgeneeditinghadfurtherpromotedtheminingandfunctionalverificationofgenesrelatedtoodgingresistance(e.g.,TaD-2A, TaARF12,TaPRR1,and TaDEPI ).Despite significant progress,most QTL were still in the stage of rough mapping,and the validationofmajorQTandteiraplicationinbredingstillfcedchallenges.Inthefuture,iisnecesarytoadvancetefinpingof QTL,thecloningandfunctionalanalysisofkeygenes,andtodevelopmolecularmarker-asistedselectionandmultigenepyamidingbreedingstrategies tosupportthegeneticimprovementofthelodgingresistancetraitinwheatandthebreedingofnewcultivars.
