Abstract:Therapidand low-cost perception of soil health conditions is the keyfor promoting the popularization of smartagriculture.Focusingonthe technologicalpathway toward portable,low-cost,visualizedandreal-timedynamic monitoring,recent advances in sensing technologies forkeysoil parametersweresystematicaly summarized.It highlighted inovations in4core areas:organic materand structural characteristics,heavy metalcontamination, nitrate-nitrogencontent and hydro-thermal-saltparameters.Itanalyzed how miniaturized designs(e.g.,visual colorimetricsensors,paper-based sensors),novel materials(e.g.,specific fluorescent probes,functional nanomaterials), and integration with mobile smart devices had enabledthe transition from cumbersomelaboratory analysis to rapid infield detection.Furthermore,the supporting soil information management and cloud service platform was elaborated, which,through alow-powersensor network and hybrid communicationarchitecture,achieved real-time data transmissionand dynamicvisualization,thereby completing thecycle from“sensing”to“visualization”.Looking forward,soil sensing technology is anticipated tocontinue evolving toward greaterportability,cost-efectiveness and user-friendly interaction.Above resultsprovided practical pathwayandreference for buildinganinclusiveand accessible smart agriculture technology system.
